What a fun day.

Wow. I have done nothing today. I woke up at 8:50 with intentions of taking a shower, but I ended up writing a one page paper to turn in at 10. There's more a story there, but I'm not gonna tell it. Lecture only ran until 12 or so. So I went home and had a little food and then I came to work. I have just sat here surfing the web. Tonight I'm gonna study for my final in my class. I don't know how much I'm gonna study but it probably won't be that much at all.
Last night was more of an experience at work. There was this guy who came in asking if we had a color printer. He later came up and said that he sent a print job. So the guy I work with started the process to print the page. The printer itself takes 3 or 4 minutes to warm up before it even starts receiving the page to print. The guy printing was impatient and asking why it takes so long. He started talking saying how his friends told him that he couldn't print off a fake looking ID. He was just here to prove his friends wrong. (I didn't believe it, but I didn't think he'd be able to do it so I let it pass). So the printer went through its thing and started receiving the file. The guy was again freaking because it was taking so long. I thought that it was taking awhile too, so I looked to see how big it was. The file was 29 megs so I told him that the file would take a long time. Needless to say the printer here sucks and I had to reset it and the guy had to send the print job again. The printer had to go back through the warm up phase (with the guy pacing around). Then it printed out and I thought he was done. But no, he wanted toprint on glossy paper and on both sides. The guy I work with told him that he would have to do some special alignment so it would print on the back. The guy went back to his computer and half an hour later came up with his paper saying ti was all setup correctly. Needless to say, when he printed the front and the back did not line up because the guy hadn't changed any of the alignment. He got pissed off because he had wasted his single sheet of glossy paper and couldn't salvage his fake id. That was only one thing that happened.
The next thing was there ws this guy wanting to make some graphs in Excel. I've become pretty good at graphs in Excel so I was the one to help him. He kept aksing me to do the stuff, as I'm telling him what he has to do. He won't leave me alone. I'll tell him how to do one thing and 3 minutes later he is asking another question. So I give up, and just start doing the stuff to get it done. It wouldn't have taken long, but I'd do something and then he change his mind. So this was another half hour, but he was done and left.
So I guess last night was a busy night at work for once. Unfortunately they it was also a pain since the people weren't the greatest to deal with. Oh well, that's a night at the DoIT InfoLab.
