Wow. It's been awhile since I've made an entry here. I was actually going through wtihdrawl. I kept getting these urges to write, but I couldn't get on here. My brother got a house and moved so that's why it has been so long. He didn't set his computer stuff up until last week sometime. I noticed that the journal stuff wasn't working so I've spent a little time here and there to try to fix it, but tonight I sat down trying to figure out how to get this working again. My bro said he upgraded his linux box so there were someissues there. Tongiht between emails and IMs we finally got everything all figured out and I'm back here entering journal entries. I know I was misse. Now that I'm typing I can't think of what I felt that I needed to write. I thinking it was the fact that I am writing that helps.
The move happens this upcoming weekend. I 'm heading to the new apartment. I have almost all my stuff packed up from the old apartment and I'm ready to move to an apartment with air. Packing up my stuff was unbearable cause no air and fans don't do much except blow hot air on you. It's going to be hella hot in the next couple days. I think I may be getting used the the heat though. Yesterday it got up to the mid 80's and I survived withouth any airconditioning. I went back to the new apartment between work and the air was on so it was nice and cool.
I've been picking up shifts at work so I'll have a nice little boost of money. I don't know if the timing was as good because I have a social psych exam on Thursday. I keep telling myself that I get more done at work than I would if I was at home. I don't let myself do anything until I get my reading done. Tonight was an exception cause I read and worked to get this going since there were about 10 minutes between each email I sent my brother.
I've found a new project that I've been working on. I've been working on a skin for Media Jukebox. I think this is the best jukebox software out there. It made by a smaller company that is based in Minneapolis. The only tech support they have is a support forum, but it's nice to see the one of the heads of the company posting responses. I'll post the skin once I get it finished. I spend last night getting the skin to display the playlist. I still need to add scroll bars to the playlist and add a toggle for the EQ, I don't think that will take as long since I know how to get windows to hide and show. Doing the skin has also increased my knowledge of photoshop. I've been using Elements which is a lamed out version of Photoshop. I think it's easier to handle since there are less options. The only thing that drives me nuts is that every shape I draw has anti-aliasing on. In the real Photoshop that can be turned off. I just use the magic wand to fix that though.
Well nothing else to say.
