Nothing

|

I've been home for about 2 weeks and I have not done anything over break. It's nice to have nothing to do, but I feel like such a bum just sitting around all the time. I have agreed to paint the front of my parents' house, so I've done that for 2 days. Other than that I've read books and watched movies. I've read the Harry Potter series. I finally broke down and bought the books and I read them all within the first 2 weeks of being home. I've also started reading the Hobbit and hope to read some of the Lord of The Rings books. I've caught up on DVD that have come out. Michelle has free rentals to Hollywood Video so we've been albe to rent movies that we normally wouldn't. One example is Rollerball. I watched this one by myself and I thought it was a horrible movie. It made me think about why the actors and actresses agreed to be in it. I was going to rent the New Guy tonight but I managed to lose the coupon only a mere 10 minutes after receiving it from Michelle. I'm that good.
I got my wisdom teeth out and had a cleaning the first couple days I was back home. The dentist was all good. The wisdom teeth I was a little worried about because I've never had any type of surgery. They had me change in a room and then took me into the OR. Had me lay down on the table under all the lights, that's what freaked me out. I don't know why, all I can figure is that it finally hit me that it was gonna happen in a matter of minutes. The nurses were nice and gave me an IV and told me that the doctor was gonna be in shortly to give me the medicine to put me to sleep. While waiting for the doctor one of the nurses handed another a magazine and they started talking about an article that had the best cosmetic surgeons in the Twin Cities. They started complaining that this clinic was not on the list. How comforting is that just as you are going to have surgery?? I didn't think it was. The doctor came in and shot all the stuff in my IV. I didn't like that cause I could feel the IV moving in my arm each time he touched it. The next thing I remember a nurse asking me to try to stand up. I was in a wheel chair getting into Michelle's car. I dont' remember ever changing back into my clothes. I was eating chicken nuggets by 3 that afternoon. The only problem I had the first couple days was that my jaw was stiff and ache. Now the stitched on one side of my mouth hurt because I broke a stitch or something. I was yawning and I heard a pop in my mouth. Other than the slight pain every now and then I'm back to normal. It's just gross having to rinse out the empty sockets after I eat.
