It's been a long while since I've written anything in here and I'm going through the need to write again. I think I have found my problem. I've noticed that I slack off in writing when I don't have anything to do. During the 3 weeks I was home and now. As Michelle has put it, I don't have a hard semester. I feel unmotiveated to do anything when I'm not doing anything. Before in busy semesters I always had something to do and I would put it off by writing in here. So, I think that is the problem. I need stuff to do to make me write in here. Now that I know my problem I think I will be able to address it.
I think I have finallly finished my resume. I've now rewritten it 3 or 4 times. I think this is going to be the final one because I have to print it off and take it with me to a career fair that is tomorrow night. I'm kind of nervous about what the career fair is all about. I don't know how hard I have to try to sell myself tomorrow. I know I want to catch their attention but I don't want to end up just throwing my resume out to people I'm really not interested in working for. I plan on going throught the list of people who are going to be there and figure out what ones I want to talk to and take it from there. I'm also not sure how many of the companies are from outside the midwest. I've only browsed throught the employer descriptions and haven't noticed anything that is out of the midwest. There were a couple Chicago and Minneapolis, which Chicago would be the first choice. I do want to go out west, but I'm worried about tht $$ that it would cost to move out there. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.
