Weird thing happened yesterday, I received a check from our automobile insurance company. The check was for almost $100. There was a letter attached that said this was a dividend check because of great year State Farm had. I had never heard of a company giving back money to their customers due to good financial perfoermance. I was skeptical so I did a search online to see if this was some sort of scam. The first hit from Google was a press release from State Farm's website announcing the dividend payout.
I guess it's not technically free money since I did pay premiums, but unexpected money that I won't complain about. I wish the oil companies would do this.
